Cowshed
Soho House founder Nick Jones created the original Cowshed spa at Babington House, extending the hospitality of the House into wellbeing for guests.
The ecommerce store lets people all around the world bring the spa home and enjoy Cowshed’s luxury creams, soaps, oils and lotions wherever they are.
The Challenge
The website’s incumbent platform wasn’t offering the performance or flexibility that the brand needed to grow the business, so Cowshed decided to replatform to Shopify 2.0.
The site needed modernising, with one of the objectives being to improve the user journey and better showcase the quality and range of products on offer.
The brand also wanted to incorporate staff discount functionality that was bespoke to Cowshed, so we factored in custom app development to facilitate this.
The Solution
Radiant migrated Cowshed to a Shopify theme build with custom pages, redesigning elements of the site to improve the UX and usability.
We managed the migration from an SEO perspective to ensure that all pages were correctly redirected and there was no impact to traffic or rankings.
We have an in-house team to develop custom app functionality which meant our developers were able to create a custom-built staff discount API, that exactly matched the client’s requirements.
The Results
The new Cowshed site features lean code, fast loading, and a clear user journey with a compelling path to purchase.
Post-launch, we’ve continued to partner with Cowshed via our Ongoing Success service - the objective now is to continue to evolve and iterate the website based on data and insights, to ensure the business continues to grow.
Some of the ongoing project work includes developing the staff discounts interface, designing and developing a product bundle builder to grow AOV (average order value), and looking into the possibility of subscription functionality to help increase LTV (lifetime value).
