Hello! We’re Radiant, a Shopify Premier Partner agency, based in Birmingham, UK, and Dubai, UAE. The agency was founded in 2018 by James Lane with a simple idea: ecommerce brands deserved an agency that cared as much about its clients’ long-term success as winning new business.

“I had experience in the ecommerce agency space, but had grown frustrated with some of the places I’d worked.

Too many agencies had become sales organisations that happened to build websites. Obviously closing deals is vital, but the quality of work for clients was compromised, with projects rushed out the door simply so the next one could start.

This created a poor experience for clients, and agencies became trapped in a cycle of constantly replacing unhappy customers instead of building lasting relationships. I wanted Radiant to be different.

I spotted an opportunity in the Shopify landscape for an agency that could deliver excellent service to brands looking to grow quickly.

I didn’t want growth for the sake of growth. I wanted to build an agency that staff would be proud to work at, and clients would love to partner with.

It was important to me that the number one focus should be excellent service delivery.”

Eight years later that philosophy still shapes every project. Today, the agency is led by Managing Director Steph Deeley, who has spent more than a decade delivering ecommerce projects. Having worked for several years as Head of Client Services at Radiant before becoming our MD, she ensures all of the agency’s work reflects the same client-first philosophy Radiant was founded on.

We've deliberately stayed specialist, focused entirely on Shopify, and built long-term partnerships with brands that want an agency invested in their growth rather than simply delivering projects.
