Full-Stack Developer
Radiant is looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. We’re a close-knit, rapidly growing agency with offices in Birmingham and Leeds, and we pride ourselves on our core values: innovation, service, excellence, collaboration, and empowerment.

What you’ll be doing:
Work across the full stack, building scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and drive business growth.
Develop professional e-commerce stores on the Shopify platform for a variety of clients.
Bring designs to life using HTML, Liquid, SASS, and JavaScript.
Improve and maintain existing Shopify stores and custom apps.
Work closely with our Client Services team to deliver new projects and migrations to a high standard.
Build and maintain backend applications on the Shopify platform using Node.js.
Write database logic and create effective APIs.
Collaborate with the team to ideate technical solutions for new and existing clients.
Stay up-to-date on Shopify platform updates and broader industry trends to ensure best practices.
We’re looking for:
4+ years of hands-on development experience with Shopify.
Proven experience building and maintaining public or custom Shopify apps using Node.js (Express/Next.js/React).
Experience with deploying web applications on remote servers running Ubuntu.
Strong understanding of the Shopify API ecosystem (REST Admin API/GraphQL Admin API).
Experience with the OAuth authentication flow and Shopify authentication.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+, npm), Liquid, and CSS3+/SCSS.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., JavaScript, PHP) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js).
Experience with databases (e.g PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and web servers (e.g nginx, Apache).
Git/version control experience.
Ability to work confidently within terminal.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
Desirable:
Previous experience in an agency or in-house development role.
A degree in computer science or a related field.
Experience in unit/integration testing.
