Account Manager

We are a Shopify Plus agency based in the UK, and we’re looking for a Digital Account Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work remotely and/or from our Birmingham or Leeds office, depending on your location.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to make a real impact - both for our clients and within our team.

What you'll be doing

  • Building strong, meaningful relationships with a diverse range of D2C clients – primarily in skincare and beauty, but also across other sectors such as esports, fashion, and lifestyle.

  • Acting as the day-to-day point of contact for your clients, ensuring their needs are heard, understood, and met with clarity and care.

  • Growing the value of your client portfolio by identifying new opportunities and areas for strategic impact.

  • Providing eCommerce consultancy and strategic recommendations tailored to each client’s goals and business stage.

  • Working closely with our internal teams - Design, Development, QA - to deliver exceptional, conversion-led work.

  • Regularly reporting on performance and progress, clearly demonstrating ROI and outcomes to clients.

  • Keeping up to date with Shopify updates, industry trends, and broader eCommerce developments, and using your insights to make proactive, value-driven suggestions.

  • Managing project timelines and scopes, proactively prioritising tasks, aligning client expectations, and swiftly flagging and resolving risks or blockers with the team.

  • Contributing to a positive team culture, participating in standups and knowledge-sharing sessions to help shape how we work.

What we're looking for

  • A high level of initiative and emotional intelligence, with the confidence to take ownership.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal - comfortable liaising with a wide range of clients.

  • A genuine passion for eCommerce, particularly within our focus areas: skincare, fashion, and lifestyle.

  • A strategic, creative, and pragmatic problem-solver, always aiming to deliver the best outcomes and value for clients.

  • A desire to thrive in a small but growing agency, where your contributions will have a direct and meaningful impact.

  • A proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to support others.

  • Experience in a client-facing role, such as Account Management, Project Management, or Customer Success.

Desirable skills

  • 2+ years of experience at an eCommerce, digital, or creative agency.

  • Familiarity with Shopify or similar eCommerce platforms (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento/Adobe Commerce, etc).
